Sarah was chosen as a Top Ten finalist in the 2007 Junior National Hereford Expo senior showmanship contest. The Top Ten finalists were given 30 minutes to completely fit their animal prior to the last round of showmanship and questions. Sarah was awarded Reserve Champion Senior Showman (pictured at left). In the Bred & Owned Show, SJS Thunder Girl (Baby Doll) was named Reserve Division III. In the Owned show, GKB Miss Moler (Lucy) was named Champion Division V and Reserve Champion Horned Heifer! Congratulations on a successful Nationals!

Sarah was again voted the Outstanding Iowa Junior Member at the 2006 JNHE in Louisville, Kentucky. Iowa Juniors exhibited 31 head of cattle among the 1267 entries in the show. The Iowa juniors won the herdsmanship contest - bringing the prestigious Golden Pitchfork traveling trophy back to Iowa for another year. Way to Go Iowa Juniors!

Sarah showed SJS Kareena 320 to the Reserve Champion Bred-and-Owned Cow-Calf Pair title at the 2005 Junior National Hereford Expo Cow-Calf Pair Show in Milwaukee, WI. The two-year-old cow and her February heifer were among 1,143 entries.
